A 1991 NAIA All-American in track and field for her accomplishments in the discus at nationals, and also in volleyball…Received NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete recognition for two years in both volleyball and track…A GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-American for two seasons in volleyball and one in track, and named the volleyball Co-Player of the Year in 1990...She captained the volleyball team from '89-'91, earning all-conference and all-district honors each season...In her senior year, she also served as a track captain...The recipient of Northwestern's Christian Woman Athlete Award two years in a row, she also received the Vander Stoep Award in 1992...Now a postdoctoral fellow for the University of Chicago's Department of Biochemistry and the American Cancer Society.
