The NWC Athletic Communications Office serves as the liaison between the Red Raiders' 23 nationally-recognized sports and local, state, and national media outlets. The athletic communications staff works closely with the coaches, student-athletes and the College to enhance the publicity efforts and showcase the accomplishments of Northwestern student-athletes in competition, the classroom, and in the Orange City community. Northwestern College Athletics are proud members of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

Logo Usage

Northwestern’s athletics department is responsible for ensuring that the college’s athletic visual identity is clear and consistent. Any publication or media displaying a Northwestern athletic logo intended for an external audience must be approved by the Athletic Communications office. For logo use guidelines or additional logo options, contact Bradley Laackmann at bradley.laackmann@nwciowa.edu

XML files can be acquired from the Presto Sports admin page. Please let us know in advance of any special circumstances or non-XML stat files are needed, so that we may make arrangements to get the information.

Interviews

All interview requests with Red Raider student-athletes and coaches must be arranged through a member of the communications staff, and be given at least 24 hours notice. All non-game day requests for student-athlete and coach interviews must be made through the athletic communications office. On game days, post-game interviews can be arranged by contacting an Athletic Communications representative on-site (sport assignments listed above). 

Radio
Radio access is available at the De Valois Stadium (Football) and the Bultman Center (M/W Basketball*, Volleyball**). Please contact Bradley Laackmann at least 24 hours in advance if you will be requiring access to the phone line. Events to be aired on KSOU can be found on the sport-specific schedule. 

*All NWC men's and women's basketball conference games (home and away) will be on the radio, services provided by Sioux County Radio. All conference tournament games and national tournament games will also be on the radio. 
**Only a select few (at least 5) volleyball matches will be on KSOU.

Internet Access is available to guests on the Northwestern College campus. Please see an Athletic Communications representative when you arrive for assistance in connecting to the network.
