Corey was a point guard who earned NAIA first-team All-American honors and Great Plains Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors as a senior in 2005. He averaged 13.4 points, 5.2 assists and 3.2 rebounds that year as the Raiders advanced to the Elite Eight. He was an all-conference performer as a junior, contributing 14.5 points and 5.1 assists, and earned all-national tourney recognition his sophomore year when Northwestern won the 2003 national title with a 33-2 record. he averaged 8.2 points and 4.05 assists that season.
Ranked fifth on the school's all-time assist record with 520, Corey also scored 1,243 points during his Red Raider career.
