Bryant Engelmann

During Bryant Engelmann's four years on the Northwestern track and field team he was a four-year letter winning and was a four-time All-American. He was a member of the 4x400m relay in '95 that finished sixth at the national outdoor meet. During the '96 and '97 indoor seasons, Engelmann earned All-American status in the 600m run, finishing fourth at the national meet his sophomore year and third his junior year. In '97 Engelmann placed fifth in the 800m run at outdoor nationals. He holds Northwestern's record in that event with his time of 1:49.89. The men's MVP his sophomore, junior and senior seasons, Engelmann was Northwestern's Vander Stoep Athletic Award winner in '97 and was also named of the Successful Farming All-American track and field team that same year.
