An NAIA All-American in volleyball all four years at Northwestern, Amy Schutt was a third team recipient in '91, a first team honoree in '92, '93 and '94, and the National Volleyball Player of the Year in '92 and '94…During her time at Northwestern, the Raiders compiled a 155-25 match record and qualified for nationals every year except 1993...The squad set a school record for most wins with 48 in '94, and in 1992 the team advanced to the quarterfinal round of the national tournament...A national leader in hitting percentage and kills per game during her days at Northwestern, Schutt was inducted into the Iowa High School Girls Volleyball Hall of Fame in November 2000 in recognition of her accomplishments at Orange City's Unity Christian High School.
