Tony Write made a big impact on the Red Raider football team, being named to the NAIA All-American first team as a defensive back in 1984…Also an all-district honoree, Wrice led Northwestern's defensive unit in points as the Raiders compiled an 11-2 record and finished as the national runner-up in NAIA Div. II...He came to NWC after three seasons at Dakota State College, where he was named all-district in 1983 and selected to the All-South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference first team in 1982 and '83...Wrice signed a free-agent contract with the Seattle Seahawks in 1985.
