Nick was a four year starter and letter winner at left tackle who garnered first team All-American honors for the Northwestern Red Raider football teams in 2001 and 2002. He was an honorable mention All-American in 2000, and he received NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition in his junior and senior seasons. He was a four time All Conference selection, three times as a member of the First Team
Nick is noted for allowing only one sack as a started at left tackle. He has also assisted the Red Raiders as an offensive line coach.
