The 2003 NAIA Division II Player of the year, Brandon also was named the national tournament MVP in 2001 and 2003 as the Raiders won national titles both seasons. He earned All-American second team honors in 2002 and was an honorable mention selection in 2001. Brandon twice earned team MVP honors and was named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete in 2002 and 2003. He received the 2002 Emil S. Liston Award, given to one junior men's or women's basketball player who has excelled in athletic and academic achievement. Brandon is Northwestern's all-time leader in points, 2,478, and assists, 648. He is also fourth in career three-point field goals, 226, and fifth in career rebounds, 896.
After graduation Brandon played professional basketball for a year in Iceland and the Netherlands. He's in his fourth season in Germany, competing for ENBW Ludwigsburg.
