Northwestern Finishes 11th at Griak Invite

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Northwestern College men's cross country team placed 11^th at the Roy Griak Invitational on Friday afternoon, running in the Jo Rider Men's Maroon Race.

The race, which included teams from Division II and III and NAIA schools, was the first 8K of the year for the Raiders, who were paced by Caleb Tofteland's ninth-place finish in 26:54.5.

Ben VanDeBerg was the next Raider to cross the finish line, doing so in 28:19.4, while Alik McIlravy and Isaiah Aragon were close behind at 28:37.2 and 28:43.8, respectively.

Michigan Tech won the event with a score of 35, while Crown's Drew Kolodge was the individual winner with a time of 25:22.5
