Three Raiders Qualify for NAIA XC Championships

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its qualifiers for the 2025 NAIA Cross Country Championship this afternoon. Emily DeGroot, Kayden Spencer, and Caleb Tofteland were announced as qualifiers for Northwestern College.

Tofteland and DeGroot automatically qualified with top-15 performances at last weekend's GPAC Championships, while Spencer received an at-large qualification.

At the conference meet, Tofteland placed seventh with an 8K time of 25:05.1, DeGroot was 15^th with a 6K time of 22:52.4, and Spencer finished 19^th at 23:09.8, also in the women's 6K.

The NAIA Championships will be held on Friday, November 21 at Appalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida. The women's 6K will begin at 8:30 a.m. (ET) with the men's race at 9:30 (ET).

The national meet will be broadcasted for free on the NAIA Network and Urban Edge Network. PrimeTime Timing will provide live results of the event.
