Northwestern Lands Two on Cross Country All-Conference Lists

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern cross country athletes Caleb Tofteland and Emily DeGroot were named to the GPAC All-Conference teams for their top-15 performances at the conference championship race on Saturday.

Emily DeGroot – Women's All-Conference (15^th Place)
A junior from Orange City, Iowa, DeGroot ran a time of 22:52.4, finishing 15^th at the GPAC Championships. It was her best 6K time of the season and second-best time of her career. DeGroot is a two-time all-conference runner after finishing second at the GPAC meet in 2022.

Caleb Tofteland – Men's All-Conference (7^th Place)
A freshman from Wichita, Kansas, Tofteland was the only freshman to earn all-conference honors at the GPAC Championships, placing seventh. He ran a time of 25:05.1, marking his second-best 8K time this season. Tofteland is Northwestern's first men's All-GPAC honoree since 2022.

Brad Jenny of Doane (Men's) and Dordt's Nate Wolf (Women's) were named the GPAC Cross Country Coaches of the Year.
