Tofteland Finishes as Top GPAC Runner at NAIA Championships

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Caleb Tofteland competed Friday morning at the NAIA Championships, hosted at Apalachee Regional Park.

"Our Raiders competed hard today," noted head coach Scott Bahrke. "Caleb was the top GPAC finisher. It was a fun time for Raiders and fans here in Tallahassee!"

Tofteland placed 52^nd, finishing well ahead of his 92^nd spot in the rankings coming in. The Raider freshman was the top GPAC finisher in the race and improved his placement by 47 spots in the final 4K. Tofteland's top split was in the third kilometer, as he ran a 2:42.4.

Jack Anderson of The Master's (Calif.) won the event with a time of 24:15.4. Indiana Wesleyan was the team champion with a score of 117.
