Van Roekel Leads Raiders at Northwest Iowa Invitational

LE MARS, Iowa – The best golfers in the NAIA found themselves at Willow Creek Golf Club for a three-round tournament this week, as Northwestern finished eighth in the field.

Trey Van Roekel led the way with a top-15 individual finish, posting the best round of his career and of the Raiders' season (67; -4). Ray Greller was next up for Northwestern with the second-best overall score and round of the tournament, shooting a 213 overall and a 68 in the second round.

The Raiders shot +2 for the event with an overall score of 854, scoring a 283 in the final round for their second-best team round of the season.

Marian (Ind.) won the event with a score of 826 (-26), and Texas Wesleyan's Kolbe Fielder won the event with a score of 197 (-16).
