The Red Raiders delivered a commanding performance, culminating in a 4-1 win against Dordt, a decisive 5-0 sweep over Hastings, and a 4-1 victory against Mount Marty.
In their match against Dordt,
Ray Greller led the charge with a remarkable 6&5 win, complemented by
Evan Smith's strong 5&3 victory.
Qwenton Caldwell faced a tighter contest but secured a crucial 1UP win, while
Ben Christy and
Axton Miller experienced setbacks in their matches. Despite these losses, Northwestern's overall performance demonstrated their competitive edge in the match play format.
Against Hastings, each player contributed to an unprecedented shutout.
Ben Christy initiated the success with a 2UP victory, followed by
Ray Greller's 3&2 win. Both
Evan Smith and
Axton Miller closed their matches at 2&1, while
