High School: completed a standout, four-year career running for the Boyden-Hull / Rock Valley Cross Country team; finished among the top 15 runners and earned all-conference honors at the Siouxland Conference meet all four years; also a letter winner in softball, basketball and track and field; was an all-conference selection in basketball and qualified for state in both softball and track.
