Erickson and Yunag Named All-GPAC Golfers

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) released its 2025-26 all-conference teams, with Ellie Erickson and Claire Yunag being named honorable mentions.

Ellie Erickson – Honorable Mention
Erickson receives her second All-GPAC nod after earning honorable mention accolades in 2023. Compiling three top-10 finishes this season, Erickson averaged an 83.5 in 16 rounds. She posted a low round of 78 at the Mount Marty Invite and finished 26th at this year's GPAC Championships. Erickson held an average of 87.0 at Northwestern, tied for sixth in school history.

Claire Yunag – Honorable Mention
Earning honorable mention for the second consecutive year, Yunag played 18 rounds with an average of 85.3. She posted the team's lowest round this season, shooting a 76 in the first round of the Mount Marty Invite. Yunag closes her career with an average of 87.0, which is tied for sixth in Northwestern's record books.

Dakota Wesleyan's Allison Meyerink was named the GPAC Player of the Year, with Macy Button of Morningside earning Newcomer of the Year honors. Coach of the Year accolades went to Morningside's Nick Wandersheid.
