Winterfeld Earns GPAC Honor After Strong Performance on the Road

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern senior outside hitter Stella Winterfeld has been named the GPAC Attacker of the Week, presented by Hauff/Mid-America Sports, for the fourth time this season.

"It was a great weekend for our team on the road at Hastings and Doane," head coach Kyle Van Den Bosch said. "Stella had another great weekend scoring points in a variety of ways."

Winterfeld guided the Raiders to a pair of sweeps last weekend, averaging 6.75 kills per set and hitting .500. She added two blocks and three digs in the matches.

Northwestern will host a pair of top-25 matchups this weekend, facing No. 15 Midland and No. 2 Concordia (Neb.).
