De Jong To Play Baseball at Northwestern

| By:
Aden De Jong (Orange City, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Northwestern College in the fall.

De Jong is a 6'3" pitcher who has played three years for the MOC-Floyd Valley High School baseball team heading into his final season. De Jong has a 2.20 career ERA and is a two-time academic all-conference selection. He plans to study Biology / Health Professions at Northwestern and is the son of Daron and Emily.

"I am really excited to have Aden be a part of our program," said Northwestern Head Coach Brian Wede. "As his high school coach, I know what he can bring to a team and am really excited to see him continue to develop as a baseball player. I know Aden will have a huge impact on our team in some capacity in the next four years."
