Raiders Drop Neutral-Site Contest

FORT DODGE, Iowa – Mount Mercy used an early outburst to take down Northwestern, 17-1 in Tuesday's neutral-site meeting.

How It Happened
Northwestern fell to Mount Mercy 17–1 on Tuesday at the Rogers Sports Complex.

Mount Mercy struck early and often, going out to a 12-0 lead after the first two innings.

After a quiet third inning, the Mustangs added two more runs in the fourth to increase the lead to 14-0.

The fifth inning saw Christian Graves hit a two-run home run, bringing the Mustangs up to a 16-0 lead.

The Raiders then got on the board in the sixth inning. Levi Mills, who reached base on a hit-by-pitch, scored thanks to an RBI single by TJ Silliman.

Game Notes: Up Next: The Raiders will resume GPAC action at Doane on Saturday. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m. in Crete, Nebraska.
