Prior to Northwestern: two-year career running for Iowa Central Community College cross country and track and field teams; qualified for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) track and field championships in the 1000m and earned all-conference honors in the 800 during both the indoor and outdoor seasons; also finished 29th at the NJCAA Half-Marathon National Championships.

Academic: Physical Education major. Personal: son of Malaki and Staci; brother to Collin and Ava; also a member of the Red Raider track and field team; all-conference in the mile, 4x800.
