High School:Â played three years for McBain High School;Â averaged 16 points, nine rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while shooting better than 50% from the field in leading his team to a 21-1 record as a senior; earned all-state honors two years and was a three-time all-conference selection;Â scored over 1,000 career points and was named academic all-state two years.
