Craig Sterk (McBain, Mich.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College this fall.
Sterk is a 6'7" forward who played three years for McBain High School. Sterk averaged 16 points, nine rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while shooting better than 50% from the field in leading his team to a 21-1 record as a senior. He earned all-state honors two years and was a three-time all-conference selection. Sterk scored over 1,000 career points and was named academic all-state two years. He plans to major in Criminal Justice/Political Science and is the son of Karen and Dave.
"Craig is a quality young man who is a good student," commented Northwestern head coach Kris Korver. "Craig is a versatile, long, athletic player who can defend and play multiple positions. We look forward to seeing him grow and improve over the next four years. Craig will be a blessing to our campus and to our team."
