Northwestern Women End Battle at NAIA Championships

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Red Raider women closed their season at the NAIA Championships, with Addison Smith and the 4x800m relay representing.

Northwestern began under the lights following a weather delay on Wednesday, as the 4x800m team of Macy Schroeder, Allie Hough, Emily DeGroot, and Brielle Engelmann bettered their time by half a second with a 9:17.25 mark to place 20th in the field.

On Friday, Addison Smith was Northwestern's lone competitor on the men's and women's side, clearing her third attempt at 1.62m to finish 13th in her first career national meet appearance.
