Raiders Secure Third Place at BCU Match Play

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern's women's golf team competed at Briar Cliff Spring Match Play on Monday and Tuesday, picking up a third-place finish and a 4-1 win over Doane.

In the first match, Northwestern fell 3-2 to Dordt, picking up wins from Brooke Thompson (6&4) and Ellie Erickson (1UP).

The Raiders' winning performance over Doane included victories from the 2-5 spots, as Brooke Thompson (5&4), Anna Brant (2&1), Claire Yunag (2UP), and Ellie Erickson (7&5) all secured wins.

On Tuesday, the Raiders met the host in Briar Cliff, falling 3-2. Brooke Thompson (7&6) and Ellie Erickson (1UP) were winners in the match.
