SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Northwestern College women's golf team competed at the Morningside Spring Quad on April 20, finishing 4th in the four-team field. The Raiders faced a competitive group and were unable to gain ground in the single-round event.
Leading the way for Northwestern was
Ellie Erickson, who placed 10th overall with a round of 82 (+10).
Anna Brant followed closely behind in 11th with an 84 (+12).
Brooke Thompson finished 14th with an 88 (+16), while
Mariah Gerleman finished 93 (+21) to close out the round for the Raiders with a team score of 347 (+59)
All season the Raiders have consistently improved in multi-round events but struggled to keep pace with the top of the leaderboard in the single-round quad. They will look to clean up inconsistencies moving forward so they can come out with a strong opening round at the GPAC Championships.
