— The Northwestern College women's golf team competed at the Mount Mercy Spring Invitational on April 14, finishing 8th overall in a competitive field. The Raiders recorded a two-round total of 717 (364-353), improving by 11 strokes in the final round.
Leading the way for Northwestern was Brooke Thompson, who finished tied for 16th with a two-round score of 170 (+26). Thompson bounced back with a strong 81 in the second round, marking one of the team's top performances of the day.
Anna Brant placed tied for 30th overall with a 181 (+37), while Mariah Gerleman followed in 33rd at 182 (+38). Julia DeVos finished 35th with a 184 (+40), and Leah Hunter rounded out the team scoring in 45th (193, +49).
As a team, the Raiders rebounded well in round two and finished the tournament on a strong note after a tough round one.
