Event Wins Earn Kalvelage GPAC Honors

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – For the second consecutive week, Northwestern senior Braden Kalvelage has been named the GPAC Field Athlete of the Week, presented by Hauff-MidAmerica Sports.

Kalvelage won two events at the Nebraska Graduate Classic last weekend, setting an indoor PR in the long jump (7.55m) and taking first in the 200m (21.67).

The senior leads the GPAC in both the long jump and 200m, sitting third and 10^th, respectively, in the national rankings.

Northwestern is back in action on Saturday at the Dennis Young Indoor Classic, hosted by Buena Vista University.
