Drew Darnold and women's soccer student-athlete
Aliza Edwards as the Raider Athletes of the Week, presented by American State Bank, for their performances during the week of September 29th.
MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Drew Darnold, Men's Soccer
- Darnold (So., Omaha, Neb.) scored three goals over the course of two wins for the Raiders last week.
- The sophomore would have his first career multi-goal game with two goals in 22 minutes against Jamestown on Saturday.
- Darnold had just one shot in the two games that did not end in a goal.
FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Aliza Edwards, Women's Soccer
- Edwards (Jr., Spencer, Iowa) earns her second Athlete of the Week honor with three goals and an assist last week.
- It took the junior just 31 minutes of play to find the back of the net twice against Waldorf on Wednesday.
- Edwards now has eight goals this season as the Raiders have tied the most wins in a season since 2023.
