Raiders Crack Top 25 in Final Rating

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Northwestern men's golf team came in at No. 18 in the NAIA's final rating of the season, the national office announced today.

It is Northwestern's first time in the top 25 since 2019 and their highest ranking since the 2017 postseason poll when they were No. 13.

On the heels of a GPAC title and individual champion in Axton Miller, Northwestern preparing to compete in the NAIA Championships for the second year in a row and 11th time in school history. This year's Raiders currently hold the best team scoring average in program history (72.8), led by Axton Miller, who is on pace to break the record for single-season individual average (72.4). The Raiders also boasted five all-conference picks, including the GPAC Player and Newcomer of the Year in Miller and the GPAC Coach of the Year in Aaron Aberson. Jackson Laven, Ray Greller, and Evan Smith were named to the First Team, while Qwenton Caldwell checked in with a Second Team honor.

Keiser (Fla.) held their spot as the NAIA's top-ranked team, while Oklahoma City, Dalton State (Ga.), Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), and OUAZ (Ariz.) rounded out the top five.

The Raiders will close their season at the NAIA Championships, held May 20-23 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois.
