Women's Track and Field NWC Athletic Communications

Trio to Represent NWC Women in Indiana

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The 2025 Women's NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, presented by U.S. Marines, are set to take place from May 21-23 at Indiana Wesleyan University.

A livestream of the week's events will be available for free on the NAIA Network with live results provided by Crossroads Timing.

Emma Blum will be making her first individual appearance at the NAIA Outdoor Championships after previously competing with the 4x400m relay team for the past two years. This season, Blum qualified for the NAIA Indoor Championships in the 400, where she finished in 11th place. She secured her spot at the outdoor meet with a time of 56.61 at the GPAC Championships, which ranks her 26th in the country.

Jacie Vander Waal is set to make her fourth appearance at the NAIA Outdoor Championships, consistently qualifying each year in the high jump. At the Wayne State Classic, Vander Waal achieved a personal best with a leap of 1.72 meters, winning the event. This impressive mark currently places her fifth in the NAIA rankings. Her previous best at the NAIA Championships was a 1.68-meter jump in 2023, where she finished seventh.

Aubrey DeGroot will be experiencing her first NAIA Outdoor Championships following her participation in the indoor meet over the last two seasons. DeGroot qualified by winning the Sioux City Relays with a PR of 1.66m, ranking her 22nd nationwide. Earlier this year, she finished 13th at the NAIA Indoor Championships in February.
