USTFCCCA Announces 2025 Academic Awards

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its All-Academic teams and athletes earlier this week. Northwestern's men's and women's teams both were named All-Academic teams, and multiple Red Raider student-athletes received individual accolades.

To be named an All-Academic team, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the team's eligibility certificate must be 3.0 or higher. All-Academic athletes are selected for having a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and achieving an automatic or provisional qualifying mark for either the indoor or outdoor season.

Emma Blum and Jacie Vander Waal received All-Academic honors for the women, and Drew Geetings and Braden Kalvelage were the Raiders' men's honorees.

Blum and Kalvelage qualified for both the NAIA Indoor and Outdoor Championships, while Geetings and Vander Waal represented the Raiders at the NAIA Outdoor Championships.
