Northwestern Holds Top-10 Spot in Latest Ranking

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Northwestern softball dropped three spots but remained in the top-10 in Wednesday's edition of the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 rating, presented by Netting Professionals.

The Raiders have gone 24-5 through the midway point of the season and has opened GPAC play 4-0. They enter the weekend on a seven-game winning streak and currently sit atop the conference standings.

Statistically, Northwestern ranks top-10 in the country in walks (117), sacrifices (71), RBIs (155), runs (185), and hits (246). Three Raiders - Sydney Jacobs, Ashtyn Billings, and Tatum Schmalbeck – sit top-10 individually in the NAIA in walks drawn. Kate Kralik is sixth in wins (12) and 13^th in strikeouts (78).

All but one spot remained the same in the top five, led by Southern Oregon. Oregon Tech, Science & Arts (Okla.), Cumberlands (Ky.), and Oklahoma City rounded out the first five.
