Schroeder Wins 800m Debut as Raiders Split Team in Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb./WAYNE, Neb. – Macy Schroeder won the 800m at the Wayne State Classic, and Brielle Engelmann led with a top-10 finish at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational.

It was the first collegiate 800m performance for Schroeder, who won the field of five runners in the event.

With most of the team headed to the Wayne State Indoor Classic, Kendra Zeutenhorst, Keira Rogers, Karina Huzlebos, Aubrey DeGroot, and Aleigh Zettle each placed second in their respective events. Emilie Weaver, Becca Hofmann, and Maiya Speer each placed third.
