Men’s Golf at No. 24 in First Spring GCAA Poll

NORMAN, Okla. – The Red Raider men's golf team has received a No. 24 ranking in the first 2025 edition of the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Coaches Poll, presented by Bushnell and Golfweek.

The Raiders have competed in five events in the 2024-25 campaign, most recently finishing third with a three-round score of 892 at the Battle of the Dance. Northwestern's best round this season as at the season-opening UC Ferguson Classic, where they shot a 284 in the third round. Jackson Laven currently leads the team with the top season average of 71.9 (+1) and four top-10 finishes.

Keiser (Fla.) moved up to the top spot, receiving five first-place votes. Oklahoma City was put in the No. 2 spot, with Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), Dalton State (Ga.), and Wayland Baptist (Texas) rounding out the top five.

Northwestern will begin its spring schedule on March 17-18 at the Verhille Invitational in Camdenton, Missouri.
