American State Bank Raider Athletes of the Week

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Northwestern College athletics has named men's wrestling student-athlete Noah Parmelee and track and field student-athlete Kenzie Harder as the Raider Athletes of the Week, presented by American State Bank, for their performances during the week of December 8th.

MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Noah Parmelee, Men's Wrestling
  • Parmelee (Sr., Sioux City, Iowa) placed 2nd at the Doane Open, the best finish for a Raider at the tournament since 2019.
  • The #17 ranked senior at 141 pounds beat two top-10 opponents on his way to the finals.
  • Parmelee earned three bonus-point victories on the day with a major decision, tech fall, and pin.
FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Kenzie Harder, Women's Track and Field
  • Harder (Fr., Storm Lake, Iowa) broke two school records in her collegiate debut at the Wayne State Classic.
  • She set the NAIA auto mark and broke the school record in the long jump (5.85m).
  • In the 60m sprint, Harder broke the school record in the prelims (7.70) before hitting a runner-up finish at 7.71 in the finals.
