Raiders Power Past Broncos in Commanding GPAC Win

ORANGE CITY, Iowa — The Raiders delivered their most dominant performance of the season on Thursday night, rolling past Hastings College 41–16 in a commanding GPAC dual victory.
After an early setback at 125lbs, the Raiders strung together a series of bonus point wins that quickly swung the dual in their favor. Ethan Skoglund ignited the momentum at 133lbs, sticking his opponent in just 2:27 to get the Raiders on the board. The energy continued at 141lbs, where Noah Parmelee exhausted the scoreboard with a 21–6 technical fall, showcasing relentless pressure and high-paced offense.
At 149lbs, Angel Gasca added six more team points via forfeit, extending the Raiders' lead. Bumping up for the Raiders at 157lbs, Johnny Burnette wasted no time—pinning his opponent in 41 seconds, fastest fall of the night.
The Raiders kept the momentum rolling at 165lbs, where Cade Braun worked his way to a second-period pin to widen the gap. After a Hastings tech fall at 174, the Raiders immediately responded. Carter Peterson stepped up in a big way at 184, securing a fall in 4:10 to reestablish firm control of the dual.
The dominance continued at 197lbs, when Joel Arias capped off Northwestern's bonus-point barrage with a fall in 2:53. Though Hastings closed the dual with a fall at heavyweight, the Raiders' early and consistent scoring kept the Broncos' hope for victory too far out of reach.
Backed by six falls, a tech fall, and a forfeit, Northwestern cruised to 41–16 victory over Hastings.
