Men’s Wrestling Picked Fourth in GPAC Preseason Poll

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – With the 2025-26 season on the horizon, Northwestern was picked fourth in the GPAC Men's Wrestling Preseason Poll.

Doane was picked to defend their conference title, followed by Morningside, Concordia, and Northwestern in the top four.

Northwestern returns national qualifier and all-conference placer Noah Parmelee, who wrestled at 141 last season, to the mat this year. Sophomore Kane Butrick led Northwestern with 272 match points and was second with 17 wins, wrestling at 133. Carter Peterson and Thomas Vance are also back after leading the Raiders with six falls each in 2024-25. Last season, head coach Rik Dahl became Northwestern's all-time leader in duals wins, entering the year with 102 team wins in 17 seasons.

Full results from the poll are linked at the top of the story.

The Raiders will open the year on November 1 at the Falcon Invite, hosted by Friends University (Kan.).
