CRETE, Neb. – The Northwestern College men's track and field team competed at the 2022 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Indoor Championships and saw 10 All-Conference performers, highlighted by a second-place finish by
Lorenzo Jones in the triple jump, and fifth-place finishes by
Ben Thelander (Heptathlon) and
Ian Wiersma (5000m).
The 4x800m relay team captured the highest placement for the men with a second-place finish with a time of 8:04.66 featuring
Peyton Brasser,
Trey Englmann,
Isaiah Lee, and
Wyatt Pryor. Jones also captured second-place with a jump of 14.50m, tying his NAIA "A" standard leap of 14.50m from the Dordt Invite earlier this season.
As a team, the Raiders secured sixth-place with 40 team points, four points head of fifth-place Briar Cliff.
