Raider Men Set to Compete at NAIA Championships

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The 2025 Men's NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, presented by U.S. Marines, are set to take place from May 21-23 at Indiana Wesleyan University.

A livestream of the week's events will be available for free on the NAIA Network with live results provided by Crossroads Timing.

Among the competitors is Braden Kalvelage, who qualified for the long jump with an impressive leap of 7.51 meters at the Red Raider Open. This marks Kalvelage's third appearance at the NAIA outdoor meet. He has a strong track record, having finished second last year and fourth in 2023. His current mark ranks sixth in the NAIA, making him a notable contender in this year's lineup.

Drew Geetings will make his debut at the NAIA Championships, having qualified in the high jump with a PR of 2.01 meters at the GPAC Championships. His performance places him 22^nd in the nation, showcasing his potential to make an impact in his first appearance at this level.

The Northwestern 4x100 meter relay team, consisting of Vance Hayenga-Johnson, Grant Palmer, Braden Kalvelage, and Tyreece Wynne, secured their spot by hitting the auto mark at the Sioux City Relays with a time of 40.75 seconds. This achievement ranks them 18^th in the NAIA, positioning them as a team to watch.

Additionally, Northwestern's 4x400 meter relay team, composed of Aziah Ashley, Hayenga-Johnson, Carson Van Sickle, and Palmer, qualified by achieving the provisional mark at the USD Twilight. Their time of 3:14.67 ranks 25^th nationally.
