YANKTON, S.D. – The Northwestern College men's track and field program was in action this weekend at the Mount Marty Invite as the Raider 4x400m relay team notches a first-place finish.
 
HIGHLIGHTS:

• The Raider 4x400m relay team (Jake Davies, Mitch Oostra, Trey Englmann, and Wyatt Pryor) took home first-place honors with a time of 3:27.36. 
• Ben Thelander (So., Lawton, Iowa/Lawton-Bronson) took home second in the heptathlon (4353), followed closely by teammate Bryce Paulsen (Jr., Marshall, Minn./Marshall) who took home third (4131).
• Wyatt Pryor (So., Woodbine, Iowa/Woodbine) ran to a third-place finish in the 600m (1:25.46).
• In the high jump, junior Aaron Shepard (Marengo, Ill./Marengo Community) grabbed a tie for third-place with a jump of 1.95m.
• Isaiah Lee (Sr., Sioux Falls, S.D./Roosevelt) took home fourth-place in the 1000m (2:33.04) and Ian Wiersma (Sr., Zeeland, Mich./Zeeland East) grabbed fifth-place in the mile run (4:33.64).

Up Next: Northwestern will compete at the South Dakota (USD) Realty Alumni Meet next Saturday, February 5 in Vermillion, S.D. with events set to commence at 11:00 a.m.
