Mauro Dominguez Gandara (Sheldon, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his soccer career at Northwestern College.  

Dominguez-Gandara comes to Northwestern after spending two years at Northwest Iowa Community College where he graduated with honors. He plans to study International Business Administration at Northwestern and is the son of Valeria Gandara and Martin Espino.
 
"This has been a long time coming as Mauro knew he wanted to play for Northwestern when he graduated from high school two years ago," said Northwestern Head Coach Dan Swier. "It is rewarding to see him finish his Associate Degree and now fulfill his dream of becoming a Red Raider soccer player. We are looking forward to having him compete with us for the next couple of years."
 
"Northwestern is a great college and a place where I can finish my career goals and continue to play a sport I love," stated Dominguez-Gandara.
