Riley Aarbo (
Sioux Falls, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his soccer career at Northwestern College.

Aarbo enjoyed a standout, five-year career playing center midfielder for O'Gorman High School and head coach Ryan Beier. Aarbo was named the United Soccer Coaches Association (USCA) state player of the year after a 10 goal, six assist senior season. He helped lead his team to the state championship last fall and earned first team all-state honors for the second time. Aarbo netted 37 goals and totaled 24 assists for his career at O'Gorman.
"Riley is a highly decorated player, earning a multitude of individual accolades throughout his high school soccer career," commented Northwestern head coach
Dan Swier. "I was extremely impressed when I watched him lead his team to a state championship last fall. Riley has been on our radar for a long time and it feels good to finally see his signature on our letter of intent."
Aarbo has played multiple years for the prestigious Dakota Alliance Soccer Club. A member of the National Honor Society, Aarbo plans to study Exercise Science at Northwestern. He is the son of Troy and Tara.
"I chose to continue my soccer career and education at Northwestern because of its outstanding soccer program," stated Aarbo. "I was impressed by the campus, facilities and coaching staff."
