ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- Emma Blum (Bennington, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her track and field career at Northwestern College.
Blum has participated in track and field for four years at Omaha Christian Academy. She placed fourth at the state meet in the 4x100 in 2019 and the 200 in 2021. Blum has also been a member of an all-conference runner-up team in 2021.
"Emma will make an awesome addition to our women's high jump and sprints crew," noted Head Coach
Scott Bahrke. "We are pumped to have her joining our Raider Track & Field team!"
Blum plans to study Business Administration-Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship at Northwestern College. She is an honor roll member and a member of the National Honor Society. Blum was the recipient of the Believers and Achievers honor.
When asked about why she chose Northwestern Blum said, "It is a really good Christian school that is close to home."
