Dingus To Play Basketball, Baseball At Northwestern

Brenden Dingus (Council Bluffs, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball and baseball careers at Northwestern College next year.

Dingus is a 6'2" guard who played four years for the Heartland Christian basketball team. Dingus averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and made 29 three-pointers in earning all-conference honors for the fourth consecutive year. He finished with 1,095 career points, second most in school history, and was elected team captain all four years. Dingus graduated as the class valedictorian and is the son of Zach and Dorene.

"Brenden finished an outstanding high school career at Heartland Christian," stated Northwestern Head Coach Kris Korver. "He is an excellent student and a quality young man. We are excited that Brenden will be part of the Red Raider family."
