Alex Snyder (
Alta, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his golf career at Northwestern College this fall.
Snyder was a three-sport standout who played four years for the Alta-Aurelia golf team. Snyder won the conference championship as a senior and earned all-conference honors two years. He has personal bests of 73 for 18 holes and 36 on nine. A member of the National Honor Society and honor roll, Snyder plans to major in Actuarial Science at Northwestern. He is the son of Gary and Nancy.
"Alex is a very good athlete and I believe that will serve him well in improving his game to get ready for the collegiate level," said Northwestern head coach
Aaron Aberson. "We are excited to have him join the Red Raiders this fall. Alex is a great teammate and a hard worker."
