Jamie De Jong

Jamie De Jong was hired in January of 2019 to lead the women's tennis program starting with the 2019 spring season.

"Through this experience, I have discovered leadership skills that I didn't know were in me," said De Jong. "I have thoroughly enjoyed learning, leading and empowering young women to have a voice, develop strength, and build confidence in ways that are pleasing to our Lord. I am proud to be a part of a supportive NWC coaching staff who all work toward doing better every season. Raiders truly stand strong and STAND OUT!"

While at Northwestern, De Jong has coached 17 all-conference selections, and her team qualified for the conference tournament in 2019, 2023, and 2024. She has also coached 27 NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

De Jong attended Moorhead State University (Minn.) for three years and finished her degree at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (1995), earning a bachelor's degree in marketing.

Jamie's favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 1:7. She stated that this is her favorite verse because, "Often we think we can't overcome, but we can."

Jamie is married to her husband of over 30 years, Doug. Their children are Levi and Emma, living in London, England and Ames, Iowa.
