Harder Earns All-American Status as Raiders Compete in Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Red Raider women's track and field team sent two individuals and two relays to the NAIA Championships, as freshman Kenzie Harder highlighted the field with an All-American finish in the long jump.

Events began on Thursday with the 4x400m and 4x800m relay teams taking the track. Both teams posted season bests, with the 4x800m group of Macy Schroeder, Allie Hough, Emily DeGroot, and Brielle Engelmann bettering their mark by over 10 seconds. The 4x400m crew of Harder, Tierney Huss, Mya Van Donge, and Emma Blum posted a 3:55.84, which sat nearly three seconds ahead of their season mark.

On Friday, Kenzie Harder opened with the long jump, leaping 5.74m on her second jump to secure a spot in the finals and a top-eight spot. Harder became the first Northwestern women's indoor All-American since the 2021 4x400m team.

Tierney Huss rounded out the action in the 200m, finishing 25^th overall with a time of 25.13.
