Box Score FREMONT, NEB. – The Raiders win a nail biter in Fremont against Midland. It all game down to the double point as the two team split the singles matches 3-3. Northwestern was able to win 1 & 2 doubles to secure the match victory. Northwestern also took away some pivotal 3 set victories in singles. At one singles, Matilde Di Martino lost her first set 6-2 and stormed back with a 6-4 set 2 and finished it off with a 6-3 score in set 3. Madalyn Kolb won a dramatic match at 4 singles. She won set number one in a tiebreaker, lost set number 2 6-0, and dominated set 3 with a 6-3 win. Gritty play all around paid off as the Raiders took home a 4-3 victory.
