Caldwell Opens Spring with GPAC Honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern senior men's golfer Qwenton Caldwell was selected as GPAC Men's Golfer of the Week, presented by Hauff Mid-America Sports, for his performance at the Verhille Invitational.

A senior from Littleton, Colorado, Caldwell placed second at the Verhille Invitational to open the spring season, shooting 145 (+1) in the two-round event. His eagle on the final hole secured an even second round and a first-place team finish.

He is the third Raider to earn weekly honors this season, joining Trey Van Roekel and Ray Greller.

Northwestern will finish round two at the Doane Spring Invite today.
