Raider Women See Two Event Winners at Wayne State

WAYNE, Neb. – Northwestern spearheaded a day of impressive top-five finishes at the WSC Wildcat Invite on Friday, led by Tierney Huss's win in the 200m and Addison Smith's high jump victory.

Sprints
Tierney Huss blazed through the women's 200 meters to take first with her 25.20 performance, while Emma Blum secured 10^th place at 26.07.

Middle Distance
The women's 600 meters saw Macy Schroeder charging into fourth place with a time of 1:39.04, closely followed by Brielle Engelmann, who finished sixth at 1:40.88.

Distance
In the women's 800 meters, Allie Hough finished in ninth with a time of 2:27.00, just ahead of Brooklyn Fryar in 10^th at 2:27.39. Mya Romero claimed 13^th place with a time of 2:29.00. Kiera Rogers crossed the finish line in 11^th in the 1000 meters with a time of 3:16.44. In the women's mile, Elin VanDerWerff took 19^th with a time of 5:37.97. Kayden Spencer raced to third in the 3000 meters with a time of 10:40.92, while Sarah Lunning placed sixth in the 5K, clocking 20:15.95.

Hurdles
Carly Dunn hurdled her way to fifth in the women's 60 hurdles finals with a time of 9.15.

Jumps
Addison Smith soared to win the women's high jump with a leap of 1.62 meters, while Karli Swart tied for seventh at 1.57 meters. Aubrey DeGroot tied for ninth, clearing 1.52 meters. In the long jump, Lauren Waypa secured 10^th with a mark of 5.04 meters. In the triple jump, Kenna Gustafson placed 10^th with a mark of 10.21 meters, and Arya Compton landed 12^th with 9.67 meters.

Throws
In the women's shot put, Lilli Gustaf secured 18^th with a throw of 10.42 meters. In the weight throw, Mia Skippings achieved 18^th place with a toss of 12.93 meters, and Autumn Nemitz took 20^th with 12.58 meters.
